A Famous Brands & Coega Dairy Partnership
Following the successful launch of Coega Dairy, Famous Brands, a major restaurant group known for outlets like Debonairs Pizza and Steers, sought to secure a reliable source of cheese. To achieve this, they formed a joint venture (JV) with Coega Dairy in 2012. This partnership ensures the production of all the cheese needed by Famous Brands restaurants, including the mozzarella for Debonairs pizzas and the cheese slices for Steers cheeseburgers. Famous Brands holds the majority stake in the JV (51%), with Coega Food Group holding the remaining 49%.
